TIny Tuesday: Mission Impossible

Today is one of ‘my’ days. Undecided between Wimborne, Lymington or Poole, I suggested we take the first bus that arrives. Fortunately it was the Breezer 70 Open Top which only runs in the summer and takes a slightly different route through to Poole Bus station.

We sat on the top deck. Within minutes a gentleman kindly warned our hats would blow away in the wind. Well we’re no longer tourists so aware of this! But as the wind got stronger, I moved to the front which was slightly protected by the front window.

I spent the rest of the journey bemused by this TINY spider trying to build a web above. As the journey progressed the web became more and more tousled, And the poor spider was going in circles to rebuild it.

Of course he never succeeded and here is the photo halfway through the journey, by the end he was hanging on to one thread for dear life. The rest was a mangled mess or blown away.

Now peacefully enjoying an Aspall with a grilled vegetable and cheese baguette at Hotel du V, away from the spider and madding crowd.....a few wasps tho’
