Off the beaten track - but beaters arent far away!

Unusual visitor to the garden today, looking tired and tolerant of my approach.
Spotted by 'Cook' from the kitchen window (who is somewhat a twitcher), I am advised it is also known as the French Partridge due to its introduction to the UK from France in 1790. Normally found in the South of England this is a more colouful bird than the usual one found hiding in the garden from Mr Head-Shootist who intrudes on the land behind my fence, I think his first name is Dick.
