Premonition

These ghostly giants will soon be gone and this misty morning image captures a sense of premonition.

Thanks to bleeding canker and mould chestnut leaf, over 100 of these 1oo-year old horse chestnuts in Herne Bay Memorial Park are likely to have been chopped down by this time next year.

Unusually I had a choice of photos today - hedgescape, lichen jewels and ghostly tree.
