Run Around

ASDA at ten to nine on a Saturday morning to drop off a bag of ‘gizzits’ to those on the first shift of the Royal Naval Association Recruitment & Collection Day.
‘Gizzits’, a Naval expression for freebies given away to ships visitors or in this case those dropping something in the collection tins or for any child.
Home for a shower, shave and change into shirt and tie before heading back to ASDA for my two hour shift.
I found it quite enjoyable and time flew by, chatting to friends calling in to shop and those interested in what the RNA is about. People are incredibly generous in this day and age where money is tight for everyone.
Home, shopping away, and some time with Samantha before Clare arrived home. Joshua spent the day refereeing a beach rugby tournament before heading off to a party with his mates, camping overnight.

Today’s photo shows, (L>R), Phillip, Tony and Pip, three RNA stalwarts during today’s event.
