Church of the Good Shepherd, Lake Tekapo

We are so lucky! After two great days here, this morning the sky was overcast with a few drops of rain, the day we're heading home. Before breakfast, we walked along the lakeshore, past the Church of the Good Shepherd, and fleetingly, a ray of sunlight was reflected from the windows of the church. This little church was built for the small, local congregation in the 1930s. Little did they know then that in the future it would become such an important tourist attraction.
