Bad Hair Day

We have had a wonderful few days of socialising - celebrating, meeting old friends, eating out, .. and alcohol has been involved though not to excess (those days may have gone).  Today it caught up.  It was a day of recuperation, of taking things easy, of gentle gardening, of pausing... Nothing much was done today but then nothing much needed to be done, that is for tomorrow.
The monochrome journey continues.  Some flowers look great because of their very precise symmetry.  This dahlia looks great because of its lack of symmetry and the random way its flower develops.
