Waterfall.

After seeing Janet’s Foss dried up a few weeks ago, we didn’t expect so much water coming over the falls in Clapham, in the Yorkshire Dales above Settle.
However there had been a thunderstorm yesterday evening. which must have made all the difference.

Our walk today was 8 miles, from Clapham to Norber, and. Moughton Scar. It was our last walk with Floss and John, and we were so lucky with the weather.
Although rain was was forecast for the whole day,, it was fine except for about 10 mins. off mizzle.
Some low cloud, and poor light didn’t make for good photos. See extra. Which is why I chose the one of the waterfall.

As usual we finished off with drinks sat outside the pub. Then a few tearful farewells before we all set off back home.
We will certainly miss them on future walks.
