Edinburgh Festival

Down to Edinburgh yesterday.
We went to hear Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o talk about his time when he was a political prisoner in Kenya. The question and answer session spent rather long on the need to preserve languages I thought.
And now for something completely different!
We went to hear “The Best of Scottish Comedy” three comedians and a host. Boy, I’ve never heard so much swearing!
The first woman swore and lot, was very rude but not too funny
The second guy swore a bit, was pretty rude but was funny.
The headliner swore a bit, was incredibly rude but was very funny.
A horrible wet day here. Off to see an exhibition on Scottish pop music then to a thing with Chris Difford of Squeeze
