Winkworth Aboretum

With the beautiful autumnal weather today, I had to get out and make the most of it. So after reading about the arboretum by chance in the latest NT magazine, I decided to head down to near Godalming for a visit.

It was a peaceful place, still with plenty of colour. From a photographic perspective there was almost too much colour ! I found it really difficult to make an effective composition which wasn't just a mass of leaves and colour. Hopefully I've succeeded here, by managing to separate out a few Maple leaves against a contrasting sky.
