Writing an email the old fashioned way

I had to pen an email in French to the relationship counsellor we've decided to go and see after getting back together. I'd been in and on the PC all day and the last thing I wanted to do was continue staring at the screen while thinking in French and writing on an emotive subject. So I grabbed a notebook, headed to the pub down the road and wrote it there.
Typed it up when I got home, reasonably impressed by my standard of French spelling on paper and sent it off the following morning. Still no reply yet though.
