Saturdays rule

Yesterday merited a decent lie-in. Once that was done, DIY, market, late lunch, then sewing (too hot for gardening).

Mr B made a fab spatchcock chicken for dinner, then we lay about on the new cushions until dark. During which time I delighted TallGirl by finding her a (flying) Queen ant as a new pet/science project.

The photo, taken just after dinner, shows the kids examining a trail of ants up the wall. Is the summer holiday dragging?
