Hoernle

One for JacktheLad. Got a call early this morning from the Schreyers asking if we fancied a walk up Hoernle seeing as it was going to be a nice day, ie not scorching. So off we went and up we went and the sweat poured off despite it being cool and a bit later we were ensconced at the top. The pic shows S&A about a quarter of the way up, before it gets steep. The trouble with going up though is that you have to come down again and that's always harder on the old knees. I'll know all about it tomorrow I'm sure!
Back to Weilheim via a stop for cake & coffee, straight back again out to wander round a car-boot sale (60's style egg cups purchased!) then dinner in a beergarden conveniently located on our route home.
The neighbours have been having a party on their terrace all day so I think we'll watch a film and hope they eventually fall asleep!
Almost forgot .... the Jambos triumphed again, still top of the league! Who'd have thought?
