The Classic

As the week draws to a close a long distance Orienteering race is staged. This is an opportunity for the athletes to put into action al that they have learnt through the week.

I was located out in the forest to check runners through the early controls. This is one of our junior coaches pre running the course. It is only four years since she attended Lagganlia as a junior. This year she made her first appearance at the WorldJunior Orienteering Championships. Her relay team achieved a fantastic fourth position.
