Everything's up in the air (except the balloons)

After weeks, so many weeks, of hot sunshine and dry weather, the fortieth anniversary celebrations for the Bristol Balloon Fiesta have been... well, a bit damp. 

They didn't get up on Friday, and although they got up this morning they were grounded again this evening. I do like the low Sun shining on this lucky escapee. Tomorrow is the last day of the festival, and frankly the forecast isn't looking hopeful. 

All I can say is perhaps the gods of fun and frolic are working hard to bring sunshine and gentle breezes to Druid Camp. I've been madly preparing both the camper and my packing, but also the last minute organisation of the thing.
