A day trip to Stenshuvud National Park
Rain was forecast for most of the day in Malmö, so R and G hired a car for the day, With Z we all headed across the the Skåne peninsula to the east coast, where better weather was predicted.
We arrived in clouds, and as we ate a packed lunch close to the car, thunder rumbled around overhead. But once we'd eaten, the weather cleared, and we had a lovely walk around the park, in hot sunshine. We were glad of the shade offered by the many trees.
The others all ventured across the rocks to get closer to this little old lighthouse.
When we got back to the car park, we treated ourselves to ice creams, after which Robin needed a complete change of clothes. As we headed back to the car, the clouds were rolling in again. And we drove home through some torrential rain. Now enjoying a fine, cool evening.
