Ken has Barbie nightmare
Second day with my old/best friend exploring various places within reach of her home in Witney that we both wanted to visit, without taking men or dogs with us.
The day started with19th and early 20th C paintings at the Ashmolean followed by coffee on the roof terrace. Then off to the Bodleian to look at the excellent Sapho to Suffrage:women who dared exhibition. My favourites were the two pirates who were finally outed as women when the both became pregnant.
Lunch at the Bodleian and then a wonder around in the afternoon ending with tea on the roof terrace of the new shopping mall and off to then Apostasy S didn't really comprehend the religious fervour and domination of the congregation. Unfortunately I saw too much of it as child so it wasn't a surprise to me. Excellent film, but you wouldn't watch it for the laughs or the scenery.
