Bristol Balloon Festival

I met up with RobBris50 at 5am at The Observatory for The Bristol Balloon Festival which started at 6am when a few dozens balloons lifted from Ashton Park and floated over the city and its iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Whist I captured many balloons in the same frame with the bridge, a photograph I like a lot is of the balloon that narrowly missed the Observatory to the amusement of people sat on it's cafe balcony roof! (see extra)

The balloon I liked the most was a very large motorcycle and rider in the main photo that didn't float for long but almost landed on Clifton Bridge tower!

A gorgeous morning where many hundreds watched with us. By midday the rain came and stayed.
