capturing the capture
Slow start for once. Went for a nice walk along the river. Take-out lunch at home. In the afternoon we took a cable car to a Buddhist temple which really impressed me. I loved the colours and dragons and all the statues. The place was quite busy with people with long queues of people wanting to get their horoscopes. We had an hour to hang out before we needed to go for dinner. I had a good look for insect life but couldn't find much. Over the last few days I did see some amazing butterflies but not very many. There just don't seem to be many animals around, except for the plenty dragonflies and the ever noisy cicadas. After dinner (lovely Korean BBQ) we went to the West Lake to see some water fountain spectacular. The place was absolutely full with people. The spectacular was impressive. We crossed the Broken Bridge and went for a long walk along the shore. Hangzhou is quite a nice city. It's a pity though for constant haze.
