A path less trodden

Here is Himself striding forth with enthusiasm in search of Tobercooraghaglanna (Help - Soletrader of Jeano!)  We had a lovely encounter with Pat and Monica whose land it was on. They were doubtful if we would find the well: we did - fairly thrilling, see extra.
Even more exciting, it turns out that Pat was keeper of the very impressive castle/towerhouse close by and we were allowed to go and explore. No trespass involved, much to Himself's relief. 

We stayed in the most amazing place Assolas House, our bedroom the largest room I have ever been in! And the most delicious breakfast - everything homemade - see our breakfast table! See Cheeryoscuro, romance is alive and well in Kanturk!!
