No Cycling

I was in Hyde park today for a stroll and to see for myself how parched it all was. It rained later but at this point there were loads of people enjoying the sunshine. 

But what a wind-up by the groups of people ignoring the No Cycling signs painted clearly on pathways. The idea is to restrict bikes to certain routes across the park so that they don't endanger the walkers crowding the paths.. But it is ignored by so many riders including this whole family. When confronted they plead ignorance and peddle on. It must drive the park staff crackers. It certainly had me in a stew and that was after an hour.
