Thinking of Fran

It's been a sad day today as I found out when I went to the Nursing home that Hamish's favourite resident (and mine) had passed.  She had a supply of smackos for him and thoroughly spoiled him.  He could do not wrong to her even when he pinched her dirty tissues out of her bin (ewwww).  She was a keen bird watcher - she used to watch nest cams on her laptop, and a mean scrabble player.  She always was laughing when we visited her and was interested in what I was doing and where I had been.  I will miss her very much.
