Berry picking

I had to work today. The little monkey came with me and wasn’t overly impressed. She was a good girl though. We had to go get our work pat testing sorted which meant starting at our Sunday venue and then moving on to the office. She played, coloured, ate. A bit grumpy but she did pretty well. We’d cycled in the sunshine and that pleased her.

After work we popped home a while before we did some “returning and collecting” jobs round a few houses. The second was a friend’s house and she got to stop and play for a while with L. They’ve known each other since preschool. They don’t play much at school but have a longstanding fondness for one another. It was very evident when they comfortably played for an hour tonight. Harry Potter, trampolines, concert planning, sword training... she had fun!

We made a stop at the chippy when I realised we’d left it a bit later than planned for tea!
