Pot of gold ....

A day of sunshine and showers. Left 2 carting straw while I baled the few remaining rows of grass that were cut last week.
After lunch , went down the road to haul home 3 loads of cull cows and their calves ,which are big enough to wean. Usually I would leave this until the autumn and cull the cows then, but their field is severely short of grass , so the cows are off to market on Monday.
After tea time, went back down the road for the last 2 loads of bales out the field nearest the houses- better safe than sorry.
There was a brief heavy shower then this rainbow appeared. With the high price of straw this harvest there really was a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow !
