Pool with a view!

Today we left the Myvatn area in sunlight, which also brought out the mosquitoes the region is famous for... we travelled via Akureyri, Dalvik (where they were almost ready for the fish festival, the small village was heaving with visitors), Hofsós to Sauðárkrókur - a truly scenic route now most of the clouds were disappearing. We stopped in Hofsós to make use of this most remarkable infinity pool. What a stunning pool. Although the outside temperatures are around 14 degrees Centigrade, the pool was 31 degrees and the hot tub a sweltering 38 degrees.
