Not quite a quilt !!

A great day out at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham. I managed to buy the items on my shopping list and see some of the quilts, there were just so many.

I went with local quilter friends for the day, but many ladies (and a few men) go for two or three days.

I even managed to meet up with a friend that I worked with 25yrs ago in a hospital in Bishop’s Stortford. I have seen her a couple of times since, but our last meet up was about 8 yrs ago.

I see that at least 2 fellow blippers were there today, we could have had a Blip meeting had we known in advance.

I collected a Chinese takeaway on the way home, so dinner wasn’t delayed. R was over to collect the girls when I arrived so I was able to share the news of the day with B and R over dinner.

The outfit in the blip was a prize winner. Not sure who would have the courage to wear it !!!!!
