Lyme Regis
I've always liked this view down through Broad Street and Bridge Street in Lyme Regis - especially when the light is as it was this afternoon. I love looking down the street and seeing the sea.
We strolled right along the East Cliff walk to the far end and then back up and through the town. The sea was really pounding against the wall in places.
On our way back home we stopped for a quick drink, and telephoned from the pub car park to order some fish and chips from Axminster. They were just being bagged when we arrived at the shop. We ate them as soon as we got home, and they were delicious. We'd never thought about ordering them before (not that we eat them very often) but we'll certainly do that again next time we fancy some.
Apologies for lack of comments and replies recently, but it's been pretty busy with our family here. Although they're now away for a few days, we're having a bit of r&r ourselves.
