Salen Show

There were a couple of torrential rain showers but I managed to get myself and Maddie under cover just in time.  It didn't stop the sheep judging though, think it's my favourite thing to watch - have included a couple of extras.  The weather was kind most of the time.  Maddie was mostly really good and against my better judgement I decided to enter her into the dog show, she's still classed as a puppy.  She didn't win anything but did do a massive dump in the centre of the judging area and I got the pleasure of walking her round the ring with a poo bag in one hand.  Lovely to see Treshnish and Weeflecky and their families, and love M's herdwicks too - they have such gentle faces.
