One-legged Scottish idiots*

Did you know that it's easier to balance on one leg if you hold your ears?

That's what Matthew's teacher told him at school today. From the demonstration, it was hard to say whether or not this was true.

Andrew had Scottish country dancing at school today to mark the end of his Scotland project. He was keen to wear his kilt to school. He also wanted porridge for breakfast and oatcakes for his playtime snack. Wonder whether he'll get quite as immersed in the next project which, if memory serves, is mini-beasts. Witchetty grubs, anyone?

Today was Freedom Friday for our lot, the start of half-term. Yippee!
