Fringe-tastic

There’s so much going on in the city, that it is quite hard to get round sometimes, especially in the Royal Mile. That said, it’s great to see so much life, so cosmopolitan too.

Highlight of the day so far is seeing five Blue Peter presenters (Peter Purves, Peter Duncan, Mark Curry, Tim Vincent and Janet Ellis, and a video of Val) in their show ‘Once Seen in Blue Peter’. It was brilliant to see these icons of kids tv, brought back so many memories, and I must admit, I had some tears, when Peter Purves was talking about John Noakes. It may have been a simpler time, with no phones, iPads, Netflix, Amazon Prime and other Gizmzos but I suspect it was a happier time for kids.
