Sunshine and showers

Our son-in-law has always been a fan of the 1980’s film Withnail and I, often quoting from it. We watched it last night and today we went to Wet Sleddale and Gordon took them to find ‘the cottage’, i.e. Sleddale Hall. He was delighted. And they only got wet once.

More ice creams on the way back.

This evening we are out to Rheged to see Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. As we went with them to see the stage version of Mamma Mia! in London, years ago, it seemed appropriate for us all to go to see this film, which amazingly has had some wonderful reviews.
