light and dark

Life is never just black or white, it is always shades of both.
At times it would be great to know what lies ahead, definitively, but that is simply not possible. We need to live in the shadows, learning from the past but committed to a better, shared future. At times we move into the sunlight and we need to ensure we bathe in its warmth to sustain us when clouds return, as they will. But clouds only obscure the sun, it is still there. It's simply we can't see it. But... in time... it will re-emerge along with its heat to meet our hope and confirm our faith.
