Snail Mail

A snail keeps eating my post. Most days I open my mailbox and he's crawled inside and munched his way through something. He seems to prefer plain card or paper to the shiny stuff, but I haven't noticed any preference for colour of paper or ink. I lift him out and put him back in the garden where I'm sure he looks at the vegetables on offer, sighs and starts the long journey back to the post.
