. . . on a dull day, but with treated with a variety of exposures to improve the lighting, making it brighter and more even.
It's the village church, St Mary the Virgin; I've been to a few services there, but not many as I'm Roman Catholic. It would be much more convenient to be Church of England, and I wish that King Henry had not decided to set up England's own religion just so that he could marry someone else.
The extra photo is the Crucifixion scene above the reredos; it's quite "Popish" bit of decoration, but I don't know much about C of E churches.
