Fractals

This is the theme for today's Abstract Thursday hosted by Ingeborg.  Now there may be something lacking in my education, in fact I'm sure there is, but this is not a word I've come across, so I had to look it up.  Although I received an O Level in maths, and had to do a maths module for my tech degree it's all a bit of a mystery.

I think it's to do with repeating patterns that can, and do, occur often in nature.  So given that premise this is my take on the rings at the end of a log of wood.

If that doesn't meet the brief, well hey ho, it's still abstract'ish.
