Hoards of hydrangeas
Inspired by a blip I saw last week of a beautiful hydrangea wreath, I decided I would have a bash at drying some hydrangeas. Probably a bit late in the season really, but yesterday (thankfully before all that rain!) I headed out int the garden armed with a pair of secateurs. I managed to find a couple of dozen reasonable blooms, and after a bit of internet research decided the best way of drying them might be the one where you put them in vases of water!
The advantage of course is that I now have a house full of beautiful flowers, so if I fail miserably in my drying quest there is nothing lost
....and if I suceed, then who knows maybe I might be blipping a (probably not so beautiful) hydrangea wreath!
