An unexpected find
It was raining this morning so we had a very lazy start to the day.
After lunch we parked the car near Rydal Water and went for a walk that started on its shore and then above it on the hill. The hill walk was part of the Coffin Trail. It was so called because the trail was used to carry coffins to St Oswalds Church in Grasmere.
We met a couple coming down off the hill above the water and we asked them if the view was good from above. They had been to see a cave and they encouraged us to go and have a look which of course we did. The cave was huge and there were lots of little fish in the water inside. The main image is the cave and the extras are Blipbear having another rest on a wall, some herdwick sheep, a dead tree encrusted with coins and HtP and Murphy watching me when I went into the cave.
