Out on the moors

Another stunning day, walking in the hills of Simonside. Beautiful moorland. More challenging with lots of ups and downs. We started at the Lordenshaws carpark and visited the 5000 year old cup and ring rock art markings before heading up to the top of Simonside and then back through the forest. One brief shower today, first time I’ve had my rain jacket on!
