The Pumpkin King

This evening we were treated to a talk by "Mr Pumpkin" about his favourite subject.  We thought it was one of those subjects to be endured for an hour or so but how wrong we were!  A local Biology teacher with a degree in agriculture, four large allotments, a passion for pumpkins and the ability to give an informative and hilarious presentation!  Who could have thought the humble pumpkin could be such enthralling subject of such an enjoyable evening.  He brought a selection of produce from his allotment as extra raffle prizes and left us all wishing we had school teachers like him!
