Greece Holiday Day 7

We had found a small Bed & no Breakfast hotel in the middle of the town the night before, just a few minutes walk from the harbour & a lovely very Greek evening outside at a harbour-side taverna, the old men sitting there drinking their wine and playing with their worry-beads. We loved just watching them.

After breakfast on our balcony with shop bought supplies, a slow drive via Thessaloniki to the "first finger" of the Chalkidiki peninsula and the apartment we had pre-booked. I think we initially had only booked a week and were then going to move on to explore other parts of Greece but enjoyed the place we were and stayed in total for 11 nights.
