Magic moments

(Well, it has been a few days since I burdened you with a cheesy earworm...)

I took plenty of shots of beautiful autumn leaves and skies today. Most of them not even in my garden. But then, walking home from pre-school, this happened, and I couldn't resist making it my blip for today. Will just have to hope the light is as glorious tomorrow and go back for those colour shots all over again.

Littler G was adamant that she needed to take big brother's pirate hat with her. She wore it part of the way, and clutched it possessively the rest of the time, declaring herself to be "the pirate captain, ho ho" to anyone who cared to ask. As you do. I was a bit worried how big brother would react to this blatant appropriation of his costume, but he was very generous and said "of course it's ok for her to borrow it, I don't need it all the time!" How wise. If only he could remember that more often ;-)
