Back on the road

A bit worn out after yesterday's festivities and a late night blinder of a headache (too much sun, too little food and water)...we set off for Cardiff via Bristol. We stopped in to see these gorgeous people and their babies, Jude and Otto. Tom and Danny became friends at 7 years old...and he along with Sireesh were Danny's best men at our wedding. We had a brilliant time together...lots of laughs and shared pain over sleepless nights (though twins is a whole other level of sleeplessness...) We gave the kids a bubble machine, hence the bubble pic.
From there we drove to Danny's cousins in Cardiff...more twins! Girls this time! Lovely to see them all and chat into the night over a bottle or 2 of wine. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Grant buying us a road trip picnic!
2) Old friendships that remain strong despite distance.
3) Chris and Kimberley generously hosting us for the next few days.
