Opportunity

This wee Harebell in our 'lawn' has made it to flowering size thanks to the long dry spell.  It's been that long since I cut the grass!

As I type this at the end of another meltingly hot day, rain is gently falling.  The heatwave might just be over.  By and large I've enjoyed it even if many of my plants have not.  

Another day of bulb re-potting interspersed with assorted chores .... at least it was cool in the supermarket.  After the daily hospital trip we had a gentle stroll in Eaton Park in the 'cool' of the evening .... when we got back to the car the temperature reading was 29.5C.  Wonder when it will be that 'cool' again!
