Watching

I had to scramble up into the organ loft to get a good look at these carved grotesques that adorn the beam ends of our Hall roofspace. Although I have worked here for a long long time, this is the first occasion that I have been up here. Judging by the amount of dust, it's been a long time since anyone has been up here!
The reason for my visit was in connection with a student's project. She is designing and making a collection of gargoyles/grotesques for her AS Art submission.
