View from my hut
Even though it is only the beginning of August, there is a feeling in the early mornings that the year is already turning. Lots of cobwebs and heavy dew and the summer plants are just past their best.
Plenty of veg ripening though; carrots, courgettes, tatties, tomatoes and beans, and lots of sweet peas. I could pick a punch a day at the moment! They smell so lovely. Sitting in my hut knitting for a good bit of the day. The island show is on Wednesday, so I'm under a bit of time pressure!
