Moth!

Green Bins go out today so I was filling mine with Ivy cuttings, and noticed this large moth sitting on the edge.  It allowed me to take several shots from different angles, but when I tried to place a piece of white paper beneath it to get a better contrasting background it flew off with speed!  No idea what name it has, but as Gertrude Stein might have said: A Moth, is a Moth, is a Moth!  Well, you can't argue with that☺ It is, in fact,  a Silvery Y.   I checked on the Web ad there it was - have a look if you like.
