Life on the edge...

Day 92 - Berlin

I woke up today after a mega lie in and thought I would just chill out between the sauna and the swimming pool... But after getting up I decided to get back outside and finish off the tourist trail I started yesterday.

I went down to the gay museum which turned out to be shut today (so I may return tomorrow... Maybe not). I then walked along Victoria park to the nearest S-Bahn which then took me to Potsdamer Platz. Which is home to Panoramaplunk! A 360 degrees panoramic view of the city of Berlin. Apparently you can see for 40Km from the top of this building. It was a super clear day and therefore I got some seriously cool pictures! So glad I went!

This picture has lots of Berlin crammed into it. Mainly Berlin Dom/Cathedral where I performed with EYO/Nicola Benedetti and Garry Walker back in 2006... As well as the TV tower.

I walked on back to the Holocaust memorial as well as Brandenburg Gates and Alden Hotel which is where Michael Jackson hung his baby out of the window!! Continuing back down past the Berlin Dom itself along to the TV tower and finishing at Alexander Platz. Before getting back on the S-Bahn to return home.

We headed straight for the pool/sauna which was perfect before heading out for tea and some drinks. A well needed daquari!!! Yum!!
