Chickadee landing

Today was a hot and humid day. The hot weather brought thunderstorms this afternoon. It left me time this afternoon to get chores done. I went out tonight after the rain for a walk and had a visit from a chickadee. In the winter they come to my hand all the time looking for food but in the summer it is much more rare to have them come. This one stuck around for a couple of minutes  before he took a peanut and flew off.
