Tasty Treats

Well it is the first Sunday of the month, but I have to admit to being a trifle late on parade for the monthly Farmers’ Market today.

The usual stalls were there but by the time I arrived some were packing up. Or perhaps to make the most of the continuing heatwave, usual market goers were favouring a trip to the beach instead.

Fortunately, I was able to get my usual fresh free-range farm eggs — such a different flavour from many of the shop bought eggs. We cannot resist a supper, even breakfast treat (and often both) of fresh from the farm eggs like these with toasted soldiers to dip.
