Not entirely sure what this is (other than the obvious) - hope it's not going to bother the yew it's on.

E's turn to wield the paintbrush today while I did the 'presentable clothes' jobs including welcoming a number of guests this afternoon.  It's not very often that we fill all the combinations of B&B and self-catering, but we are tonight.

J's here for a few days too (so even the spare 'family' room is filled).
