This is my new bird bath and the extra shows the inscription around the outer edge.   I've now put a couple of rocks in the centre so that flying insects and indeed the small birds can land more easily before taking a drink.   
As I went to open the windows this afternoon I was stung on the hand by a wasp.   It's my left hand so not quite so bad, but it's swollen to twice the size, the skin feels tight and itchy and I've only just remembered to take my rings off, with difficulty I must add.   Hope it's going to be OK.   I think there might be a nest in the garden as there's been a few indoors when the doors and windows are open.   Feeling a bit paranoid now and checking the carpets and soft furnishings !!
